A partnership targeted at revolutionizing life-insurance subscription process.
Both created in 2013, Testamento, an estate planning platform, and Particeep, which offers turnkey solutions for online subscription to financial services, have just announced the signing of a technology partnership. Banks, mutuals and insurers are now benefiting from this offer.
Banking-Insurance: digitization more necessary than ever
Since the lockdown period linked to the Covid-19 epidemic, having 100% digital sales solutions has never been more important. According to a CXP Group white paper, “only 30% of insurance players have a strategic approach to these issues”. Technological barriers are gradually being lifted thanks to initiatives by insurers to overhaul their IT systems, which are expected to accelerate.
Combining recognized expertise from experienced startup
In this context, Particeep and Testamento offer a ready-to-use and customizable solution for subscribing to life insurance products, including the management of the beneficiary clause. In concrete terms, it is now very easy to integrate the beneficiary designation module designed by Testamento into a life insurance product subscription process created with Particeep’s Plug solution. This course is then deployed in a few weeks for all use cases: subscription with a face-to-face consultant, by phone, or independently.
Fintechs at the service of finance and insurance players
Virgile Delporte, President and co-founder of Testamento explains: “This partnership opens up new perspectives in the life and health insurance market for our partners, all players in the insurance sector. They indeed need to speed up their digitization, and the combinations and complementarities that we offer with Particeep will save them a lot of time. Our solutions will bring a higher level of advice, compliance and added value to customers while significantly reducing management costs.”
Steve Fogue, President and Co-founder of Particeep completes: “We are delighted with this technological partnership with Testamento in a rapidly changing insurance market. In fact, according to an EY study, 80% of consumers plan to interact with their insurance through digital channels. Our role is to offer the market complete underwriting solutions that are simple and quick to set up and take into account product specificities such as the beneficiary clause designation module designed by Testamento.”
This partnership also delights Alain Clot, President of France FinTech, of which the two startups are members: “We are delighted to see this initiative between two of our members who already have solid references in their respective markets. This unites and strengthens our ecosystem. In this time of crisis, startups can do a lot for both their clients and their partners. This offer can in particular simplify the work of the technical teams of the banks and insurance companies, always so mobilized and under strong tension.”
