Our history in three steps
2013: Launch of Testamento with a B2C approach
Testamento.fr website, available since December 3, 2013, aims to democratize and reinvent the way one can protect its loved ones.
Testamento B2C solutions, designed with notaries and lawyers, offers information relating to succession and transmission, as well as tools for drafting legal documents to secure everyone’s assets. The documents can be registered in the central file of notaries (FCDDV) and reread and kept for life by one of the partner notaries of the site.
Today, we continue our B2C approach and offer individuals directly, as an inheritance anticipation platform aimed at helping people to secure their wishes.
2017-2018: the turn towards a B2B approach
After having met an undeniable success with the general public, Testamento has decided to make its services available to professionals, so that they can include Testamento services in their own products. At that stage Testamento became part of Finance Innovation (dec 2017).
Testamento for Business has therefore been designed to enable the various players in the banking / insurance business to acquire, support and advise customers, throughout their lives, and build up a high-value set of customer data.
Today: augmented life insurance
After raising €3.3 million in 2019, Testamento is now composed of a team of 20 experienced employees, including fifteen based in Paris. Testamento also has a dozen partnerships with major players in banking and insurance in France such as Allianz, Generali, the MACIF group, Malakoff Humanis, April or the WWF.
Our augmented life and health insurance approach enables more than 5,400 advisors to become “augmented” advisors, able to bring high added value to their clients at all stages of the insurance value chain. From the acquisition to the life of the contract through the pre-sale and the subscription, more than 5 million customers in France have access to our solutions.
