Testamento unveils its 2028 Strategic Plan and is accelerating its ambition to become the leading SaaS player in life and personal insurance and wealth management in France. Having achieved its profitability targets in 2025, obtained ISO 27001:2022 certification, and successfully launched Deep Vision, its artificial intelligence engine dedicated to beneficiary clause analysis, the French insurtech is entering a new phase of development.

Since 2013, Testamento has been supporting organizations across the life and personal insurance ecosystem, with more than 10,000 advisors using its solutions. Leading organizations relying on Testamento include Allianz, Generali, MACIF, La Banque Postale, WTW, and Aon.

With its 2028 Strategic Plan, Testamento now intends to accelerate its deployment, strengthen the integration of AI, and fully leverage the potential of wealth data to support compliance, customer intelligence, and commercial performance.

Pillar 1: Large-scale deployment at the heart of the insurance ecosystem

The 2028 Strategic Plan is built around an ambition to accelerate deployment. Testamento aims to significantly increase the number of advisors and active partners using its platform, targeting leading insurers, mutual insurance companies, bancassurers, brokers, third-party administrators, and wealth management advisor networks.

This expansion is built on a multi-module product strategy, beneficiary clauses, protection insurance, wealth management, and compliance analysis, enabling each partner to deploy solutions tailored to its business needs through turnkey solutions and seamless API integration.

The 2028 objective is twofold: equip new partners in verticals that remain largely untapped, and deepen deployment among existing partners by progressively activating all modules around the four pillars: analyze, transfer, advise, and anticipate. This multi-product deployment strategy is the primary growth driver for recurring revenue.

Pillar 2: Maximizing customer intelligence through data and artificial intelligence

Testamento is taking a new step forward with Deep Vision, its artificial intelligence engine dedicated to the analysis and optimization of beneficiary clauses. Tested on thousands of real beneficiary clauses from multiple sources, Deep Vision enables insurers and advisors to automatically detect clauses that are non-compliant, ambiguous, or suboptimal, and to recommend remediation actions.

Beyond Deep Vision, the 2028 Strategic Plan positions the enhancement of wealth data as a major strategic priority. With the wealth data collected and analyzed every month, Testamento is able to provide its partners with unique insights into their portfolios: designation rates, wealth profiles, update signals, and compliance indicators. These insights become a tangible lever for addressing compliance challenges, generating new sales, strengthening policyholder loyalty, and anticipating lapse and unclaimed asset risks.

Pillar 3: Compliance as a sustainable competitive advantage

  • For insurance and wealth management professionals: reduced risks of unclaimed assets and litigation, improved beneficiary designation rates, unprecedented use of wealth data, and compliance supported by an ISO 27001-certified technology provider.
  • For advisors: high-value digital client engagement tools, automation of repetitive tasks, and insights that trigger new business conversations.
  • For policyholders: enhanced protection and forward-looking wealth planning, up-to-date and compliant beneficiary clauses, and simplified access to their data.

2028 Outlook: large-scale deployment of operational AI

With this Strategic Plan, Testamento is equipping itself to consolidate its position as a key player in the French insurtech sector, specializing in wealth management and life and personal insurance, while accelerating toward European expansion, supported by the international recognition of the ISO standard.

Virgile Delporte, Co-Founder and President of Testamento, said:

“It took us ten years to build our industry expertise, technological foundation, and trusted relationships with the major players in the French insurance market. Our 2028 Strategic Plan is the moment when all of this comes together simultaneously: scaling deployment, intelligently leveraging wealth data through AI, and turning compliance into a value-creation driver for our partners. We believe that insurers who succeed in maximizing customer intelligence in wealth management will gain a decisive advantage over the next three years. Testamento is here to help them achieve this.”

Sylvain Delporte, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Testamento, added:

“The launch of Deep Vision and the achievement of ISO 27001 certification illustrate our approach: scalable AI built on high-quality proprietary data, deployed within a secure and audited infrastructure. Our 2028 Strategic Plan builds on this trajectory: we plan to increase monthly API calls from 500,000 to 10 million, integrate artificial intelligence into every module of our platform, and become the digital nervous system for wealth management across the French insurance industry.”

Executive committee changes and upcoming Reavie event

To implement their Strategic Plan, the two co-founders also announced the appointment of Magali SCELLES to the executive committee as Chief Financial Officer. Magali holds an MBA from the University of Louisiana and spent 17 years at the TES cluster, a competitiveness cluster dedicated to Secure Electronic Transactions, where she supported the financing and growth of innovative SMEs before taking on operational and financial leadership roles.

Gilles SAUBIN also joins the executive committee as Chief Business Officer. A graduate of MIT in Digital Transformation, Gilles has 17 years of experience in the insurance industry, as well as seven years as co-founder of the international travel insurtech Yupwego, which experienced rapid growth despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company will also be meeting with the life insurance industry at Reavie, the sector’s annual event, where Testamento has been a partner since 2019. The event will take place in Cannes from October 7 to 9, 2026, where the Testamento team will showcase the industrialized version of Deep Vision across several high-ROI use cases, including the capture of digitized paper flows and the large-scale analysis of existing beneficiary clause inventories.
